Philosophy
Each work begins as an exploration.
A conversation between material and form, where the wood expresses itself and guides the process. Through this dialogue, I investigate, discover, and allow the work to reveal its own path.
I see each piece as an investigation. A way of understanding life through material, form, and movement.
The wood is never forced. I listen to its grain, its resistance, and its imperfections. The material speaks, and I respond.
Beauty, to me, arises only when everything moves in harmony. When balance is present, form reveals its quiet wisdom.
Nature carries an inherent wisdom.
Wood, shaped by time, environment, and movement, holds memory within its grain. Each material arrives with its own history that is marked by growth, resistance, and change.
My role is not to dominate the material, but to work in relationship with it. To listen, respond, and allow the wisdom already present to guide the final form.
Parota, Encino, Eucalyptus — each chosen for its character and history.
The process is never rushed.
Each carving unfolds through time, through attention, patience, and respect for the material. I do not impose a form but remain present with what the wood reveals.
Through this dialogue, form emerges that is guided by natural proportions, curves, and rhythms found throughout the living world.
Each piece is a moment of listening.
A form shaped through patience, presence, and respect for what already exists.
